Youth Groups

The children of St Michael’s are critical to its life and our mission is to support the young people of our community by providing engaging and safe places for them to meet.

Safe Haven Project

Every Thursday in St Michael’s Hall from 3.30pm – 5.30pm. Safe Haven is a joint venture lead by our friends at St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church which provides a space where year 6 children upwards can meet safely and take part in a wide range of activities. See posters and handouts for more details or speak to Fr Ian.

St Michael's Followers

Our Sunday School takes place every Sunday during the 10:30am mass and is a great place for 5-11 year old’s to come and explore the Christian faith and how it is applied to everyday life.
Please speak to Carol Booth or Fr Ian if you would like to know more.

Children's Space

Parents, we are so pleased to welcome you and your children here at St. Michael’s. Please feel free to make use of the children’s space for under 5’s in the corner of the church, especially if your child becomes restless.

There are toys, books, sofas and a carpeted area for your comfort, so please make use of it if needs be. All we ask is that you tidy away any books or toys your child may have used.

Children's Choir

Following the 10:30 service on Sundays we are offering an opportunity for our Children to form a choir for special services. If you or anyone you know would like their children to be part of this exciting venture please speak with Vanessa Payen and Tendy.
