Planning a special event?
Large Hall
Holding up to a maximum of 300 (non-seated) or 250 (seated), the hall provides an excellent venue for every kind of celebration. There is limited off-road parking space at the front and side of the hall (On-road parking is allowed from 6:30pm). The hall (floor space = 60′ x 35′) is totally accessible to people with disabilities, including a ramp to the staged area (stage = 18′ x 12′).
Alcoholic beverages are allowed to be consumed on the premises – (you are required by law to apply for a license if you intend selling alcohol at a function). The hall is available for bookings until Midnight. 240 Plastic chairs and 44 light, rectangular foldaway tables (approx. 6′ x 2.5′) are provided for use in the hall.
The kitchen has a hot cupboard to keep food warm, a ‘Lincat’ hot water dispenser (constant hot water), fridge / freezer & small oven with hobs. All preparation surfaces are stainless steel.
Waste Re-cycling Policy: We ask hirers to separate glass, aluminium & cardboard from other waste for recycling.
Bookings are only taken on Saturdays at St Michael’s Church from 10am to 11am. Viewings of the hall are on Saturday mornings from 9:30 – 9:50am, no appointment necessary.
Deposit (returnable) = £175
Hire charges = £70 per hour + £25 (waste disposal)

Small Hall
This hall – with a capacity of 100 – is NOT available for parties. It offers limited off-road parking space, and sits behind the large hall (above).
It is ideal for smaller groups and meetings.
It has its own kitchen and toilet facilities, including provision for people with disabilities.
A nursery is using this hall from early morning until 6pm.

Parish Room
Holding approx. 20/30 people, it has a small, well equipped kitchen & facilities including a toilet for people with disabilities.
It is ideal for small group meetings and functions.

St Michael-At-Bowes' Hall
St Michael-at-Bowes hall has a capacity of approximately 100. It boasts a well equipped kitchen, and toilet facilities for people with disabilities.
Limited off-road parking is available, although there are no restrictions for parking on the roads near the hall.
