Men & Women's Ministry
Women’s Ministry – Agape Group
The Agape group is an ecumenical group to support women over the age of 18 in their faith and discipleship. The group offers a space in which its attendees can encounter Christ through the reading of scripture and in dialogue with each other. Those who attend enjoy a light lunch, which is provided, offering the opportunity to deepen fellowship through the breaking of bread. The group takes time to reflect further on the Gospel reading appointed for that day, as well as enjoying space to build each other up in prayer, for the world, the local area and each other. Regular excursions are arranged for the group to further its work. It is an inclusive space that celebrates differences. Join us for our monthly meetings from 12:30 at the Raphael Centre, behind St Michael’s Church on Bounds Green Road. Please speak to Vanessa to learn more about the group and find out when the next meeting is.
St Michael's Men's Group
The St Michael’s Men is a lively and engaging group which aims to both further the fellowship of those attending but also to deepen knowledge of the Christian faith and its history. Whilst meeting side by side by with those of different backgrounds and cultures over coffee and breakfast, those there are led through a structured study and conversation led by the clergy of the parish. Recent topics have included “social justice” and “praying for the world”. As well as the theological breakfasts, the group regular ventures out on social trips to the theatre and museums, and in November 2026 undertook its first pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. If you would like to know more about the St Michael’s Men please do speak to Harris.
