The children of St Michael’s are critical to its life and our mission is to support the young people of our community by providing engaging and safe places for them to meet.
St Michael's Followers
Our Sunday School takes place every Sunday during the 10:30am mass and is a great place for 5-11 year old’s to come and explore the Christian faith and how it is applied to everyday life.
Please speak to Carol Booth or Fr Ian if you would like to know more.
Parents, we are so pleased to welcome you and your children here at St. Michael’s. Please feel free to make use of the children’s space for under 5’s in the corner of the church, especially if your child becomes restless.
There are toys, books, sofas and a carpeted area for your comfort, so please make use of it if needs be. All we ask is that you tidy away any books or toys your child may have used.
Safe Haven Project
Safe Haven is a joint venture run by St Paul’s Roman Catholic Church with St Michael’s Wood Green seeking to create a safe place for young people aged between 11-14 years to meet, regardless of ethnicity or background; where they can spend time with their friends and have access to a chosen selection of games and activities. See notices for times and venue.
