Jesus meets the women of Jerusalem.
We adore you O Christ and we bless you, because by your holy Cross you have redeemed the world.
Jesus, although you were exhausted and in pain, you made the effort to speak to those distressed women. Help us to follow your example of unselfishness, putting aside our own troubles when other people need our sympathy. Help us always to listen to your voice in those who suffer.
